It’s that time of year again: Holidays! Our partners at digital music services will be taking time off for the holidays, so have your releases uploaded in a timely manner.

Keep these delivery deadlines in mind if you are planning to release music during the next four weeks so that you do not experience delays in getting your music live on digital service providers.

And remember that we always recommend providing your content with at least three (3) weeks before your music’s release date to ensure that your release will go live on all stores at the date and time you select.

Music delivered after these deadlines may not be available on the desired release date.

Delivery Deadlines

Below are the deadlines. The first date is the date that you want to go live with your music. If that’s the case, then you’ll need to submit your track by the second date.

For example, if you want to release your track on November 25th, your music should be submitted to us by November 9th.

  • November 25th, 2022 / November 9th, 2022
  • December 2nd, 2022 / November 16th, 2022
  • December 9th, 2022 / November 30th, 2022
  • December 16th, 2022 / December 7th, 2022
  • December 23rd, 2022 / December 7th, 2022
  • December 30th, 2022 / December 14th, 2022
  • January 6th, 2022 / December 16th, 2022

Spotify have confirmed that for a release to be live over the holiday period it should be delivered at least a full week in advance.

We do not recommend requesting deliveries or updates between December 19th and December 26th.
